Add this one-of-a-kind experience to your Colorado bucket list!

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to soar across the Royal Gorge, 1,200 feet above the roaring Arkansas River, look no further than the Cloudscraper Zipline. The thrilling attraction was recently named the No. 1 Colorado bucket list activity by Travel Channel.

Located in Cañon City, the ride boasts state-of-the-art harnesses and braking systems, which makes for an easy, hands-free experience. (You’ll be too busy enjoying the view to worry about those pesky brakes anyway.)

Riders must be at least 10 years old and 48″-82″ tall. Adult tickets cost between $22.00-$24.00 and tickets for kids 6 and up cost $17.00-$19.00. Purchase tickets online.

The Royal Gorge has several other attractions to keep you busy after you check off the zip line from your bucket list. Take the kids to the Tommy Knocker Children’s Playland for a fun-filled afternoon or stop by the Plaza Theatre for a mini-documentary about the Royal Gorge. If you haven’t gotten enough of an adrenaline rush, you can head on over to the Royal Rush Skycoaster, a 50 mph free fall that has you dangling over the Arkansas River.

Please note that both the Clouscraper Zipline and Royal Rush Skycoaster are closed for maintenance and inspections until March 9.
