This is one SNOWdrift you want to get stuck in.

The holidays are happening at one Hawaiian-themed Denver bar. Adrift, located at 218 S. Broadway, is known for its summer feel and beach vibes all year-round. But this year, it’s giving its tiki vibes a Christmas makeover with its pop-up SNOWdrift.

The halls at Snowdrift will be decked in twinkle lights, tinsel, and all things holiday kitsch with an island feel, as well as an icy-filled igloo beach bar. Merry revelers will be able to choose from a variety of cocktails that will spread some seasonal cheer. You can try the You Butter not Pout (bourbon, Jamaican rum, cinnamon, butter, grapefruit, banana), the Yuletide Mule (absinthe, Mi Campo Tequila, lime, ginger, cranberry, peppermint, soda, and bitters), or the Mele Ka-Tiki-Maka (bourbon, rose, cranberry, lemon, house falernum, ginger, and rosemary), to name just a few.

Or, bring the whole crew in to enjoy the shareable Pingu’s Playground, served out of a bowl and complete with penguins sliding down an “iceberg.”

In addition, you can soak up some of the booze with a holiday three-course menu for $25/person. You can feast on Hawaiian holiday rum ham, butternut squash soup, and much more. You can really kick your island holiday festivities in the jingle bells by attending the special Mele Kalikimaka Luau with an all-you-can-eat menu and the Kalama Polynesian Dancers. This event always sells out, so make reservations early (RSVP at adriftbar.com or call 303-778-8454).

SNOWdrift joins Avanti’s Miracle bar in bringing a unique, holiday pop-up experience to Denver’s bar scene. But it is only here through December 29! Cheers and Mele Kalikimaka everyone!
