Now, for those looking to class up their pizza by putting down the PBR as a drink choice for a more epicurean experience, you ought to consider stocking up on various wines that pair well with different types of pizza. Before placing an order tonight, swing by a wine shop and pick up a few bottles that take your pizza night to the next level.
Cheese Pizza — Classic cheese deserves a simple, fruity red wine such as a Pinot Noir.
Margherita Pizza — Keep your wine nice and light with wines like Pinot Grigio or Rose. Margherita pizza has so much flavor due to the basil, tomatoes, and mozzarella, and the last thing you want to do is overpower the pizza with a full-bodied red.
