The Denver Nuggets are changing things up yet again with new jerseys and logos, completely rebranding themselves for the 2018-19 NBA season.

Last summer, the Denver Nuggets got new jerseys after a much-needed upgrade from the baby blue jerseys of years past. And they’re evolving once again with a complete rebranding for the upcoming 2018-19 season by unveiling new uniforms and logos.

The Nuggets say the changes are to reflect the shift into “a new era of basketball.”

“Our franchise has a rich history containing numerous logo and color designs throughout our incredible 50-year story in Denver,” Josh Kroenke, Vice Chairman of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, said in a press release. “… The Denver Nuggets have always welcomed change and are continually looking for ways to innovate as shown by our evolution from the ABA’s Denver Rockets, to Maxie the Miner, the iconic Rainbow Skyline, and on to the Mountain Peak and Pickaxe.”

The Nuggets’ primary logo during the upcoming season will be the same pickaxe as before but with an updated color pattern. The team also will have a “Global Icon” and three secondary logos.

The white Association jersey will be worn at home, while the navy Icon jersey can be worn at home or on the road.
