Downtown Denver’s the ART Hotel used their valet entrance to treat Denver police officers in District 6 to a drive-thru lunch.
Police officers in downtown Denver’s District 6 enjoyed a free lunch, courtesy of the ART Hotel, earlier this week. The hotel opened up their valet entrance between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. so that officers could drive right through and pick up a boxed lunch without ever leaving their vehicle.
The lunch consisted of a sandwich selection, an apple, and chips.
This is the second time that the ART has shown their appreciation to the police for the patrol and safety they provide to the area. They provided a similar treat back in March and hope to do it again in September, potentially making it a quarterly event.
Approximately 30 officers took advantage of the offer this time around.
The ART Hotel is located at 1201 Broadway in Denver, adjacent to the Denver Art Museum. An acclaimed hotel featuring both unique art and architecture, it has won multiple awards since it opened in 2015.
