Help show your support for the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo by participating in the annual Run to the Shrine four-mile run/walk, and enjoy the views along the way!

Get ready to run like an animal at the 10th annual Run to the Shrine event! The four-mile run/walk will take you all throughout the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, all the way up to the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun and then back down. Whether you’re an avid runner or casual walker, you won’t want to miss out on the spectacular views.

When: Saturday, May 19 at 7:30 a.m.
Where: Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Colorado Springs

Online registration is open. Prices range from $15 to $55, depending on when you register. Keep in mind that the longer you wait to register, the more expensive it’ll be.

With the registration, every runner will receive a commemorative Run to the Shrine t-shirt, entry to the Post-Race Expo following the race, admission to the zoo for the rest of the day, and much more!

After you’ve completed the entry forms, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo also asks that you show your support by pledging a donation. All donations will help important programs that help the care of the animals, conservation projects, and education programs. If you’re able to raise $100 or more in donations, you won’t be going home empty-handed. You’ll have the chance to pick one of three prizes: a long-sleeve performance shirt, insulated water bottle, or a bamboo utensil set.
