Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters Thursday, December 14. If you’re just as excited as I am, then you must be itching to get to theaters for the premiere. But, if the movie isn’t enough, we’ve found five awesome Star Wars-themed events happening in Denver.

Beer Releases

Where: Strange Craft Beer Company
When: December 15

Wit’s End Brewing Company and Strange Craft Beer Company are getting ready for The Last Jedi in the best way possible: beer. Both breweries will be putting out The Last Jedi-IPA, “a clean American-style IPA malt base … with hops from around the galaxy.” The breweries’ other beer called Stay On Target is a Southern English brown ale.

Art Exhibition

Where: The Incredible Art Gallery
When: December 15-17

A must-see event full of incredible artwork inspired by the Star Wars universe. A majority of the works are priced under $100 and created by Lucasfilm artists Christopher Clark, Ric Yancey, and Matt Achziger. The best part is that admission is free!

Colorado Avalanche Star Wars Night

Where: Pepsi Center
When: December 16

The Colorado Avalanche will be battling it out with the Dallas Stars for Star Wars Night. Five dollars from each ticket will go towards Pop Culture Classroom, which hosts Denver Comic Con every year. Tickets start at $33. Plus, some lucky fans will get Star Wars hockey pucks.

Trivia Nights

Where: Multiple Locations
When: December 19-20

Think you’re the ultimate Star Wars fan? Prove it. A few bars in Denver will be hosting a Star Wars trivia night:

Chain Reaction Brewing — December 19
Bruz Beers — December 20

Star Wars Run!

Where: Runner’s Roost
When: December 20

After you’ve eaten way too much popcorn and guzzled down more than half your body weight in soda watching The Last Jedi in theaters, you’ve got to burn off all of those calories somehow, right? So why not do that at a Star Wars-themed run at Runner’s Roost? Costumes are highly encouraged. More information can be found here.

Are there any other Star Wars events happening in the Denver area that we forgot to mention in our list? Share them with us. Are you going to see The Last Jedi this weekend? What are your theories? Also, if you do see the movie this weekend, PLEASE refrain from sharing spoilers.
