March for Science
Civic Center, Denver
Saturday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Each year, Earth Day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. In such spirit, considering the current standing of our environmental organizations in the U.S., organizers have planned a March for Science at Civic Center Park (as well as all over the country). The march aims to defend science in health, safety, economies and governments. Organizers of the D.C. march state the national event sprung from “an alarming trend toward discrediting scientific consensus and restricting scientific discovering.” Science and Earth lovers unite at the Denver Civic Center to march for our planet and please… for the love of Mother Earth… don’t leave your signs behind.
